Learning Turkish...hmmm...If you feel like it...But I would say learning something such as Arabic or Mandarin Chinese is rather more useful, challenging and rewarding on the long run.

By the way, if you like languages, Turkish is also very interesting as it's unique and different, and its grammar and phonology are simple.
