Thanks for the rather very informative article...I am currently learning Russian using the methods you described, and your review made me more excited!

Learning Turkish...hmmm...If you feel like it...But I would say learning something such as Arabic or Mandarin Chinese is rather more useful, challenging and rewarding on the long run.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! My wife is Turkish, so learning the language was rather useful and rewarding ;) (And I also learned Mandarin Chinese and Arabic :p ). By the way, if you like languages, Turkish is also very interesting as it's unique and different, and its grammar and phonology are simple.
